The rest of the days @ London

Greetings.
Now I want to tell you the basics of my trip.
We booked the flights and hotel separately, it is much cheaper than the package holidays.
My flight cost 200€, and hotel was 350€ per person ( seven nights ). It was the cheapest hotel near the center.

When we booked the hotel there was available normal breakfast and "continental" breakfast. We took normal, even though it was more expensive.
When we got to the hotel, that normal breakfast does not even exist. So we paid more for nothing. The continental breakfast was poor and crappy. Breakfast was served at the table, we had to wait often because the tables were full.
This is all what we got for two people. Who the hell eats for first thing in the morning cup cakes, croissants and pancakes? Only "light" version was a toast. After seven days, toasts came out of my ears.

This is our room. It was dry and warm, and I slept very well. The bathroom was really small, I could almost turn around there :D
There was no fridge, so we were not able to drink cold drinks.

Traveling in London was easy, because my friend got phone application that tells you where to go. We got all the places where we wanted to go to, It even helped us with the metro :D

We have get used to this Helsinki subway map:

And this is London subway map: ( can you see any difference :D )

I didn't drink much during the trip, because I have the worst hangover in the world. ( Usually I spend most of the day just throwing up, so I didn't want to waste a single day such a thing ) BUT we went to a bar there called The Intrepid Fox :) I have only few pictures about my look, because my camera was out of battery.

We went to the London Dungeon but I was not able to photograph there, so I took a couple of pictures from the front. We also went to the movies to see Dracula untold. (It came weeks later to Finland )

I found Sherlock Holmes restaurant and huge mailbox. It fits my colors :D

Necessary telephone box photo ( most of those booths didn't have phones, they advertised WiFi ) Primark is cheap shop in London, I found a lot of unnecessary stuff ^^

This picture is taken in a very rainy and cold day, we wanted to see Tower Bridge.

Thousands of ceramic poppies have been planted around the Tower of London for tomorrow's centenary marking the start of the First World War

  1. Your trip just seems like the coolest ever! I only spent a day in London thus far and you make it look so wonderful!

Also I've noticed in the past few years the breakfast in hotels that aren't super expensive have gotten really really bad, so I've started to completely skip paying for breakfast, because then you can leave the hotel whenever during the morning and you have way more room for something good and local! (Especially in the UK you find such amazing foods for almost nothing)

  2. One day in London is not enough because there is so much to see! Only that Harry Potter trip took one day.

I think breakfast is a good thing at hotel because I'm too lazy to seek for food early in the morning ^^
Finnish the hotels breakfast is the best because selection is huge ! (also serves light dishes)

  3. Kivoja kuvia jälleen, tykkään tuosta päivän asusta, jossa siulla on neuletakki ja hame, ja tuo laukku on kyllä niin upea. Pitää googlata mahtaako saada jostain, on tosi kaunis!

Lontoo-postaukset oli mielenkiintoista ja kivaa luettavaa, kiitos näistä :) Pääsisipä itsekin käymään, but no money.

Hame on ostettu ihan henkkamaukalta suomesta.
Lontoon reissu tosiaan oli aika tyyris, mutta itsekkin säästelin rahoja kasaan siihen vuoden verran :) Hyvää kannattaa odottaa!
